Cooper

A craftsman who makes and repairs wooden vessels formed of staves and hoops, as casks, buckets, or tubs.

"Any work for the Cooper?...

Whene'er a vessel gets a bruise

By slipping off the stooper,

Old Farrell I would have you choose,

As soon as any Cooper."

Cries of London (1784).
