Pilferer

Someone who pilfers. A petty thief.

“The poore and petty pilferers you see on wheeles, on gibbets and the gallow tree.”

George Wither, A collection of emblemes, ancient and modern (1634).

  1. The pilferer and rifler danced hand in hand
Under the moon on the cream-colored sand.
    The pilferer stole a kiss.
    Then got rifled with bliss.
And they marveled and said, Ain't it grand?
