Moll

A prostitute. The girlfriend of a thief or vagrant.

"Once, when he was speaking of 'his old woman' for the time being, I asked if she was a 'crooked' one too. 'Oh, yes,' he replied; 'I never had nothin' to do with any "moll" who couldn't cut her own grass.'"

Five Years' Penal Servitude (1877).
